FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which class is appropriate for my child?
When deciding which class is best suited for your child, we understand you may need some guidance. To make this process easier, we offer two options. First, after you register, you can book one of our assessment slots with a member of our teaching team. This will provide a personalized evaluation of your child’s skills and needs. Alternatively, you can use our stage entry guide to determine the most appropriate class level. Both methods are designed to ensure your child is placed in a class where they can thrive and progress confidently.
Can I watch my child during their lessons?
Yes, you are welcome to watch your child during their lessons. However, due to limited poolside space, we allow only one parent/ guardian per swimmer. Once your child is settled, we encourage you to take advantage of our café area. This not only gives you a comfortable place to relax but also helps your child grow inindependence and confidence.
What does my child need to bring for swimming?
To ensure your child is well-prepared for their swim lessons, please pack the following items in their swim kit:
- Swimmers: Appropriate swimwear is a must.
- Swim Cap: This is mandatory for all swimmers.
- Goggles: Optional but highly recommended.
- Rash Vest: An optional extra layer for added comfort.
- Swim Nappy: If your child is not yet toilet trained, they need to wear a swim nappy under their normal costume (double layer required).
Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the changing room or poolside. However, we do recommend your child brings a sealed water bottle to stay hydrated during their lesson.
Cancelled and missed lessons
If a lesson is cancelled by us, it will be credited to your account and carried over to your account balance. This credit will automatically apply to your next payment. Please note that if a class goes ahead but you are unable to attend, it is not eligible for a makeup session, a refund or credit. This policy also applies to missed multiple lessons or withdrawal requests. For further details, please consult our terms and conditions.
What age can my child start swimming lessons?
Our swim lessons are available for children starting at the age of 4 years old. From this point onward, all our stages are designed based on the child's ability rather than their age.
