Parking charges have come into effect at all University of Brighton car parks. See below how this will work for our users.
SPORT BRIGHTON CUSTOMER EXEMPTION
All Sport Brighton external users parking their cars in university car parks at either Falmer or Moulsecoomb will be eligible for an exemption from these charges, but must follow the correct booking procedure.
UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON STUDENTS
Students at the University of Brighton wishing to obtain free parking for club and society events, both in and out of core parking hours can do so in the following ways.
Those attending clubs and societies outside of core hours (Mon – Fri – 7am – 5pm) will need to apply to the University’s Parking and Transport team for an ‘evening and weekend’ e-permit and have received approval before parking on campus.
Students attending ‘in hours’ clubs and societies will need to attend respective sports centre receptions within 30 minutes of arrival on site to input their vehicle registration. You will need to enter a login code which will be sent on a monthly basis to your booking lead for distribution to attendees.
Those in possession of a standard ‘in hours’ university parking permit can park for free without taking any further action.
Parking permits can be applied for here.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON SPORTS FIXTURE USERS (external university students and officials)
External university students and officials attending the Falmer campus for Wednesday afternoon sports activities will need to go to the reception desk within 30 minutes of arrival to input vehicle registration details and take advantage of a parking charge exemption.
EXTERNAL COURSES
These customers will be sent information to their booking lead to apply for a permit to park for the duration of their course. Once confirmed those then attending courses will be required to pay £2 a day to park at the payment points. These payment points are located in the car park.
MOULSECOOMB
To book your free parking whilst you are using the gym facilities, you will need to go to the reception desk at your chosen venue within 30 minutes of arrival to input your vehicle registration. This will permit you to 2 hours of parking.
