Open to recent University of Brighton graduates and current students. This is a role for someone who is looking to develop a career in sport development and/or rugby coaching, or who has a passion for supporting rugby development. This role is part-time (8 hours per week) until the end of the 2020/21 academic term, and can potentially be shared amongst more than one post holder. For details click here.
Sport Brighton provides a variety of paid and volunteer opportunities in its sporting programmes which are available for students throughout their time at the University of Brighton.
Rates of pay vary between £21-£25 per hour depending on qualifications. All coaches are required to be qualified to level 2 or above unless stated. Coaching roles will commence in October 2019 and finish in April 2020 for teams in weekly BUCS competition or June 2020 for those competing in one off events.
Sport Brighton coordinates the weekly British Universities & Colleges Sport leagues for the University of Brighton Panthers sport teams to compete in throughout the year. Sport Brighton are regularly on the lookout for qualified sports officials to allow these BUCS fixtures to take place. Payment is made on a per match basis from £20 per match.
