Recreational sport

All recreational and social sport at the university is called Parklife. Parklife is the easy way to take part in sporting activities at the university. Parklife is supported by the University of Brighton, Brighton SU and Sport England Lottery Funding.

All students and staff are welcome to take part. It provides an ideal opportunity to take part in sporting and recreational activities in a wide variety of sports. It’s fun, accessible and provides a great way for you to meet new people and make friends.

We provide leagues, drop in sessions and one off competitions in a wide range of sports and there is always something for you to take part in. Every effort is made to keep costs to a minimum, some events will be free and others will have a nominal fee. No weekly session will cost more than £1!

The 2014/15 programme will be announced shortly. It will be bigger and better with more activities at a campus near you. New activities coming your way will be regular Glow in Dark sessions and this year we are running a special Ice Skating event in Brighton. To be the first to hear about the new programme then like the Sport Brighton Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.
