Final week of fixtures for most teams before the Christmas break. A lot of good results heading into the new year. There were two games between Brighton and Eastbourne campuses in Netball and Football where both campuses were able to leave with a win. Some very good results this week as some of the Panther sides are showing league winning potential. The women's football 2nd team are currently top of their league with a 4-1 win against Chichester 2s following a 4-1 win. The women's Netball 2nd team also top their league after Brunel 2s conceeded this week's fixture. The men's hockey team are currently 2nd in their league having won all three games after an impressive 17-0 win over Queen Mary 1st team. Another cup week where many teams were able to progress into the next round of their respective cup competitions. Plenty of drama in the football games as the Men's 3rd and both the Women's team was able to progress into the next round via penalties. Also both the Men's and Women's hockey team are still in their cup competition with impressive wins. Photo above from the Men's basketball team.

A week which was disrupted by the weather with games being called off. However, there was still some good results. Great to see Netball Women's 2 team are top of the Southern Eastern Tier 3 league after a good win against Surrey Women's 3. Another team who was able to move to the top of the table was the Football Women's 2 team after a 3-0 win over Sussex Women's 3. Photo above from the Men's football team.
