Scholar Roberts First Senior Cap For Wales

Published: Friday, 09 August 2019 07:31 Written by Michelle

Sports Scholarship Athlete Lauren Roberts has recently won her first senior international cap for Wales Women’s Hockey in their European Championship victory over Turkey.

This follows up an impressive European Under 23s campaign that saw Lauren receive the “Goalkeeper of the Tournament” award.

This is made all the more special given the fact that Lauren spent the majority of the season on the sidelines with a knee injury, so it is great to see her back on the pitch performing well, and with a smile on her face.

Congratulations Lauren.
