LRLF Tagged Rugby Activator

Parklife, Sport Brighton’s social & recreational sport brand, allows University of Brighton students and staff a variety of flexible and affordable participation and workforce opportunities for a complete university experience.

As part of the Parklife volunteering programme we partner with various national governing bodies of sport to develop a sport-specific activator role tasked with improving the respective sports Parklife offer in the wider programme. Through the partnerships comes an increased amount of support and benefits to the role.

In partnership with the London Rugby League Foundation we are recruiting student activators at both Eastbourne or Brighton campuses.

University of Brighton Parklife’s Tag Rugby is a fast-paced, fun and non-contact Rugby League offer. Aimed for students of all ages and abilities with teams made up of both genders. Whether you are new, or returning, to the sport; there is something for everyone as Tagged provides great social, fitness and competitive elements to its weekly sessions.

Role Summary

Tagged Rugby is the fastest up and coming Parklife session. Mixed-gender sessions for all abilities include everyone on an equal playing field. Its fun, social and a great way to maintain fitness or develop rugby skills without contact, perfect for teams from your residences, courses or friends to join and play together. No previous Rugby experience is required, just an ambition to succeed and be a part of building something within the University.

Training Details

The LRLF provide you with a bespoke training workshop to give you all the skills required to coordinate Tagged leagues or facilitate a social 'turn-up & play' Tagged session. In addition to the training workshop you are provided direct contact with a Tagged project manager for support and mentorship throughout the year.
