Parklife Engagement Officer

Activator Role

Activators are the face of Parklife. Without them, Parklife would not be able to deliver such a wide variety of activities within its programme. Activators facilitate sessions to ensure all are included and have fun. They help set up the sessions, can coordinate games and competition, provide links into SportsFed clubs and help everyone have to keeps coming back to the sessions.

Activators do not always need to be 'sporty' or 'outgoing' individuals, anyone can make the role their own. Its a great addition to the CV, with a great support and benefits package from Sport Brighton as well as being a social and fun position to add to your University experience.

University of Brighton Parklife

Parklife, Sport Brighton’s social & recreational sport brand, allows University of Brighton students and staff a variety of flexible and affordable participation and workforce opportunities for a complete university experience.

Activities take place during term-times across all university sites including student residences, Sport Brighton facilities and at pop-up locations on campus, ranging from ‘turn-up and play’, intra-mural leagues, beginner courses, mini-competitions, club development sessions and calendar-specific events. All this ensures you can play, train, learn and exercise your way with Parklife; try something new, have fun, step-up for club level, develop employability skills or improve health and well-being.
