New Parklife Summer Timetable

Starts Monday 24th April until Friday 9th June 2017

De-stress this term and enjoy the weather with Parklife’s latest offering of sports, health and fitness inspired activities. Parklife continues to offer University of Brighton students and staff at all campus sites the opportunity to take part in a range of leagues, drop-in sessions and one-off events at the subsidised cost of just £1 for the majority of activities.

A new Lottery Funded programme has been revealed for the final term of the academic year continuing your favourite Parklife activities as well as introducing some new seasonal options. Below are some of our highlights:

  • Parklife still gives you the opportunity to give Judo a try as well as offering a fantastic beginner’s package if you want to take it further. Taking place every Thursday, 7-9pm, and Sunday, 12-1.30pm in the Falmer Sports Centre.
  • New to Brighton this term is ‘Parklife Fun’ taking place on the Manor Lawns from 2-4pm every Thursday. Come and join us in the Great British sunshine for a mix of pop-up games and summer activities, the perfect chill-out session from your studies.
  • Catch the Wimbledon fever with a new way to play Tennis at Eastbourne. Book your slot on the Welkin Hard Courts anytime for just £1 per person by speaking to the Sport Centre reception staff, and remember all equipment can be provided.
  • You can still keep fit at the Hastings campus. Sign up for a double-dose of toning with Zumba, 4-5pm, followed by Stretch & Tone, 5-6pm, every Wednesday in the Priory Square Creativity Suite. Don’t worry, you can choose to just go to one.

If this selection of activities doesn’t work for you then be sure to check out the full range of activities provided in the new Parklife timetable.

Don’t let the stress of exams or deadlines get you down; Take a break with your mates with Parklife this summer term.
