About Sport Brighton

Sport Brighton is the collaboration of sport and recreation services at the University of Brighton. This includes the use of the sport & fitness facilities across all campus sites for students and staff of the University or community clubs, organisations and gym members.

Sport Brighton also leads on the development of the University of Brighton participation programmes which includes the Sports Federation (student-led clubs), Parklife (social sport & physical activity programme) and performance scholarship athletes.

As members of the university community the Sport Brighton team provides you with masses of opportunity to participate in sport whilst at the University of Brighton. Whether it is purely for fun, to improve your fitness, make lasting friendships or to take part in serious competition we can assist.

We aim to increase sporting opportunity, improve the range of health and fitness opportunities, improve health and safety in sport, develop structured sports development opportunities and provide a great service. By working closely with the elected Student Union Vice President (Student Activities) we want to ensure a strong voice for students in the management and development of sport at Brighton. As well as services for the university community, Sport Brighton also offers a range of services and opportunities for members of the public and community groups and organisations.
